FAMILY Photography Sessions
Real moments, real memories.
Have you ever wished you had authentic photographs of your family that show your unique personalities, but one of you is always missing behind the camera? Families book me to remember the imperfections of a ‘normal day’—not in a perfectly curated studio portrait where they get bossed around by a photographer. I’m your photographer if you want real moments, real memories.
I still love to take portraits when the time comes. But photography can be much more than awkwardly posed photos with you dressed up in matching outfits and fake smiles. I focus on documentary photography that captures candid moments and how you remember them.
“Dan was amazing! He captured our day perfectly & took stunning photographs when we weren’t even aware he was taking pictures. He went above & beyond for us & we couldn’t be happier with the memories of our day. Thank you, Dan.”

Hi, I’m Dan
I’m a documentary photographer based in Kent.
It’s easy to sleepwalk through life. Kids grow up fast, and memories fade. My documentary approach shows you and your family how you are. Minimal posing, no stressing over mess, and definitely no saying ‘cheese’!
I believe your family photographs are the most valuable thing you own. These are the people we love the most unconditionally. Ask any grandparent if they’d instead give up their family photographs or their most expensive possession.
Reach out; I'd love to introduce myself properly and answer any questions.
What to expect
A pre-session consultation where we go over all the details.

I bet you've already lost track of the number of hours you've spent thinking about your wedding day. But, you'll only get married once, so this is the first and last wedding you'll plan. I've helped keep many wedding days on track as a wedding photographer. I want to share some easy ways to have a relaxed wedding day.
