About

My couples love how much I get swept up in their day, and because of that, my photos are carefully considered and capture the vibe of their wedding.

Once in a lifetime.

Heartfelt

Passion

  • I get swept up in every wedding.

  • You’re marrying your best friend. I think that’s a beautiful thing.

  • Wedding photography is my vocation. It makes me unbelievably happy, and that makes my couples love what I do.

  • Committed to documenting how your day feels, not just how it looks.

  • I’m always looking for what’s different about people, not the similarities.

Relaxed

Approach

  • You’ll be unposed for 95% of your wedding day, so you get a guest's eye view in your photos.

  • When I pose you, my directions will be simple, and your portraits will be authentic and in no way cheesy.

  • A pre-wedding consultation to get to know each other and discuss your wedding.

  • The perfect amount of communication so you always know what’s happening without information overload..

  • Previews of my favourite photos sent to you within a week of your wedding.

  • Beautiful, private online photo gallery delivered in 4 to 8 weeks.

  • You can easily download, print, and share your photos with loved ones.

  • Your guests can share their own snaps in your gallery.

Hi, I’m Dan Higginson.

I’m a full-time wedding photographer based in Rochester, Kent. But I don’t go anywhere without my camera; to me, this is far more than a job.

I spend my downtime getting inspired by cinema and making cocktails with my much better half, Tanya. Our kitchen is stocked better than some bars. There's nothing like sipping Rum Old Fashioneds around a fire pit on those long summer nights with the person you love and your good friends.

Get organised

My couples are the organised type, and as it’s just me, I can only document a limited number of weddings each year. To avoid disappointment, I encourage you to contact me as soon as possible to secure your date in my calendar.

Fill in my short enquiry form, and I’ll personally contact you with my availability and brochure within hours, not days.
