Dream Jewish Wedding Photography
A Wedding Photographer ready to Travel for you
Weddings are all about emotions and capturing the most memorable moments. As a wedding photographer, I have travelled to many different countries and have seen many different kinds of weddings. I recently had the opportunity to photograph a Jewish wedding just outside of Paris. It was a privilege to be part of this special occasion, as it was certainly not my first time photographing a Jewish ceremony, but it was my first time in photographing France.
Just outside Paris, France—Jeremy waited for his beautiful bride under the Huppah. Emotions ran high as Sandra’s speech played out to queue for her arrival. With perfect timing, the bride walked the aisle arm in arm with her father and met her groom, sharing one of the most tender moments I’ve documented at a wedding.
There is something so beautiful about the way French people celebrate life and love - they really know how to put on an amazing show. The bride wore a long white dress with a veil, her hair was beautifully styled. A Jewish wedding ceremony with prayers in Hebrew, blessings from the rabbi and their loved ones, and lots of singing and partying. There were also some emotional moments when the groom broke down into tears while his bride entered!
After their emotional Jewish Wedding Ceremony, they partied the night away with their loved ones and a live band. There were shots, Israeli dancing, and lots of good memories created.
I am fortunate that I get to photograph Jewish weddings and document some of these special moments; I truly love my job!
Sharing the Beauty and Emotional Reality of Jewish Wedding Ceremonies
The Jewish wedding ceremony is a deeply emotional event. It is an opportunity for the bride and groom to celebrate their love and commitment with their families, friends, and community.
A Jewish wedding ceremony can be as short or as long as the bride and groom wish it to be. The ceremony begins with the groom saying a blessing over wine, which he then gives to the bride. There are many different traditions that are observed in Jewish weddings, but one of the most important parts of any Jewish wedding is the breaking of a glass at its conclusion. This symbolises the destruction of the ancient Temple in Jerusalem in the first century. It is a reminder to temper our joy, because even during our most joyous times, life can be filled with sadness, but also symbolises the couple's pledge to rebuild the Temple of their own lives by building a Jewish home.
